“Kam’s Car Care” Takes Off With Community Support

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – ‘Kam’s Car Care’ successfully takes off after just a few weeks.

Kameryn Mitchell, a graduate of Houston Academy, gets ahead of paying college expenses.

He details cars all summer.

Mitchell heads to Troy University on a college scholarship, but the cost of housing, books, and meals is her responsibility.

His goal is to raise $6,000.

As of our original story about him, Mitchell is sold out through July 18.

Also, the University of Troy saw what the young man was doing and called to offer him an additional $2,000.

Mitchell says everyone’s support means so much.

“It also means a lot that a lot of people wanted to donate,” says Kameryn Mitchell. ‘They want to help me, and a lot of people are saying they don’t see young people showing dedication and things like I’m doing right now, and that says a lot for a lot of people to see what I’ I do and see what I try to do.
